Tracie Donahue-HoveyTracie is an award-winning writer, director, and producer with an extraordinary track record in the development and execution of visual campaigns for television and social media.

Prior to joining Empowerment Enterprises, Ltd. as its lead advertising and film producer, Tracie held business development positions with Power Marketing Inc., where she successfully branded clients in Forbes, AP News, The Washington Post and Yahoo! She also serves as board vice president and public relations manager for the Maryland International Film Festival.

Her production work includes the award-winning documentary Secrets to Love, (available on Netflix) with Robin Givens, which ABC describes as “impactful and inspiring”.

Her credentials include: Winner, Outstanding Documentary at the Global Arts Film Festival in Sacramento, California (2009), Best of Fest: Women’s International Film Festival, 2nd Place Best Documentary, Mammoth International Film Festival, Award of Merit- Indie Distribution Fest, Gold Kahuna Award for Filmmaking- Hawaii International Film Festival, Award of Merit- The Accolade Competition and nominations for Best Documentary: Milan International Film Festival, where she competed against George Clooney and Steven Soderbergh for Best Film Documentary of the year.

Additionally, she has led successful collaborative media lobbying efforts at the Cannes Film Festival between her firm, Ovation PR and Empowerment Enterprises, Ltd.

Tracie is a board member for Goodwill Industries and serves on the legislative committee for the Chamber of Commerce. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and government from CSU and a master’s degree in strategic public relations from The George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management.
