Candice has an extensive network of contacts and relationships within state and local governments, as well as the business community. She works closely with the firm?s primary markets in Southeast Florida where she?s developed broad expertise in numerous subject areas.
After a successful start to her professional career in New York City, Candice returned to Florida in 1998 and opened the Fort Lauderdale office of Ericks Consultants, Inc. Prior to that, Candice worked in corporate sales, specializing in outdoor advertising and temporary staffing. She secured nationwide media outdoor buys, with a concentration on Manhattan. Candice then moved to Career Blazers, a temporary employment staffing company, and was responsible for the West Manhattan area.
Candice is active in many charitable organizations and serves as a board member of ChildNet, a not-for-profit organization working to protect Broward County?s abused, neglected and abandoned children, Broward Days, an independent, nonprofit and nonpartisan group of people advocating for diverse needs and concerns of Broward County, FL, and the Florida Association of Professional Lobbyists, an organization committed to establishing and maintaining high standards for the lobbying profession.
Candice graduated from Leadership Broward?s Class of XXV, an organization that seeks to prepare members for leadership roles in their community. Candice was also recently featured by Gold Coast Magazine as one of Broward County?s leading young professionals ?40 Under 40,? who were recognized for their professional and civic involvement in Broward County.
